Description

Whipping cream pound cake is a family favorite that requires few ingredients and always comes out great.

Ingredients

1 1⁄2 c
butter
3 c
Sugar
6
Eggs
3 c
flour
1 T
Vanilla Extract
1 c
heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Cream sugar and butter until smooth.
  2. Add eggs one at a time. Continue beating until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Gradually add 1/3 of the flour and mix.
  4. Add 1/2 of the whipping cream.
  5. Alternate addingf the flour and whipping cream and beat until fully combined.
  6. Add vanilla extract.
  7. Grease and flour bundt pan and add batter.
  8. Place in an oven preheated to 350 degree F.
  9. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.

Notes

Optional glaze: Squeeze 2 large lemons in a bowl. Add 3 Tablesppons of confectioners sugar plus 1 Tablespoon of whipping cream.
