Ingredients

white flour 1 c
whole milk 1⁄2 c
vegetable shortening 1⁄2 c
butter (softened) 1 c
Sugar 1 t
vanillaInstructions
- Cook milk and flour until very thick.
- Cover and refrigerate until cold.
- Using an electric mixer, cream shortening, butter and sugar until well creamed.
- Add vanilla and chilled flour/milk mixture.
- Beat until light and fluffy.
