Citric-almond icing combines fruity and nutty flavors to create a perfect complement to cheesecake. Also delicious on almond and other types of nut cakes.
1 cbutter (softened)
3 Tlemon juice
1 Torange zest (finely chopped)
1 talmond extract
5 ccreme fraiche
5 cconfectioners sugar (add more as needed to attain desired consistency)
5 cbrown sugar
- Cream butter, lemon juice, almond extract, and creme fraiche.
- Stir in confectioner's sugar and brown sugar until of a creamy and spreadable consistency.
- Add more confectioner's sugar, half teaspoonful at a time, until it reaches desired consistency.
- Keep chilled.
