Mike's The Beatles Birthday Cake

The bottom tier features a Union Jack made from red, white and blue fondant, antiqued, to represent the British invasion. The second tier has a portrait of the lads freehand painted on fondant with brown gel color for a sepia effect. The third tier is round and draped with an American flag, antiqued. Gum paste/fondant models stand around the third tier, left to right - John, Paul, Ringo and George. The top tier has Mike's name in a fondant heart surrounded by the signatures of the band members, topped by Ringo's drum, made of fondant and gum paste and Happy Birthday spelled out with gum paste lollie pops.
