Country Vintage Bride

My inspiration for this cake came from a picture of a Country Bride whose hat was my inspiration. The top tier is my version of a country vintage cowgirl bridal hat. It is a hand sculpted vanilla bean & coconut creme cake with lemon curd filling & a RKT brim, iced with vanilla butter cream & covered in a vanilla fondant. The back of the hat has fondant ruffles with inserts of sugar pearls and there are 2 non-edible pearls on the front of the hat encircled with Bling. The lace trim on the hat itself & the veil is handmade from edible vanilla sugar, The brim of the hat is done with 2 strands of silver diamond Bling. The entire details of this cake have all been dusted with a Super Pearl luster dust. The comma cakes are 2 tiers of my signature chocolate cake with black raspberry filling & 2 tiers of the coconut creme with lemon curd filling.
