Fall Cake Contest

Cake Decorating Corner has changed its appearance, much in the fashion of a tree losing its leaves in the fall. In celebration of Cake Decorating Corner's new design, I am delighted to announce my grand opening contest: The Fall Cake Contest.

Rules:
- Cake must be made by you, not store bought. Please do not submit someone else's photo. In the event someone else claim's credit for your cake photo, the claim will be investigated. If it is determined that you are not the rightful owner of the photo, you will be disqualified.
- Submit a photo that clearly shows the details of your cake. If they are difficult to see, they are difficult to judge.
- Please submit only cakes, not cupcakes, cookies or other desserts.
- Cake may be constructed with dummies, wood and hardware, but must be decorated with edible mediums.
- Include details of how your cake was made, specifically the mediums used and techniques employed.
Cakes will be judged by cleanliness of work, originality, artistic ability and difficulty of techniques.
At the conclusion of the entry period, Cake Decorating Corner members will vote for their favorite cakes to determine the top 5 finalists. Members may vote for as many cakes as they like, but only one vote per cake will be permitted. Voting will take place from Thursday, November 27th through Friday, December 5th.
The winners will be selected by the panel of judges. Winners will be announced on Monday, December 8th.
