Your cake may be made with a dummy cake and constructed with non-edible parts; however, it should be decorated with edible mediums. Please use the description area of the photo page to indicate how your cake was made and which mediums were used.
Entries that are not related to the contest theme will be removed from the contest. Please only enter baby shower cakes. Please only add one photo of the same cake to the contest. You may enter up to 5 cakes in the contest. You must be a member to enter and logged into your account to add your photo to this page.
The entry deadline is February 16, 2015 at midnight EST. Member votes will determine the top 5 finalists. At that time, Edna De la Cruz will select the winners. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, February 24th.
UPDATE: I am going to be away for a few days, so I'm changing the deadline to Thursday, February 19th to avoid any chaos of last minute entry and voting problems. Please have all your voting completed by midnight EST that same day.

Edna de la Cruz has been interested in creating beautiful things with her hands all her life. She began as a Fashion Designer doing fashion shows in Central Florida.
Over ten years ago, she decided to try her hand at cake decorating. She took basic classes with Wilton and fell in love with the art. Edna worked at a custom cake shop as the Wedding Cake Designer. Some of her work and tutorials have been featured in magazines like Cake Central Magazine and American Cake Decorating Magazine. Today, she not only designs Wedding Cakes, but she teaches both through her instructional DVDs and in classrooms throughout the country.
Edna has been invited to be a judge at different Cake Competitions including the prestigious Oklahoma State Sugar Art Show (OSSAS) run by the famous Kerry Vincent. You can see examples of her work, free tutorials and find her DVD's at her website Design Me A Cake. Edna and Paul Joachim won the Extreme Alien Cake episode of the Food Network Challenge.
And I just have to add that Edna is a great friend with a kind, giving heart. She spends countless hours responding to questions from cake decorators into the wee hours of the night. She is an excellent teacher and her work is pristine. If you want to learn how to make gum paste flowers the correct way, I highly recommend her video tutorials.
Congratulations to the winners!
